Buyers should always order a home inspection before purchasing a property.  One reason for this is we often find concerns in houses that even sellers themselves sometimes aren't aware of.  All inspections abide by the State of NJ Standards of Practice found in Administrative Code contained at N.J.A.C. §13:40-15, and include a picture filled report.  The Standards of Practice areas of inspection are:

  • Structural components (e.g. foundation, walls, attic, ceilings, insulation)

  • Exterior components (e.g. siding, decks, grading, etc.)

  • Systems (plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, & the roofing system)
  • Interior components (e.g. windows, doors, floors etc.)

  • Fireplaces and solid fuel burning appliances
